Cam Reddish recently made a strong comment, saying that the Knicks benched him because of favoritism and politics, not for basketball reasons.

The 23-year-old small forward was relieved to have been traded to the Trail Blazers where he became a starter. His former coach Tom Thibodeau was diplomatic when talking about Reddish’s time in New York.

“He’s played very well. I’m happy for him. It was one of those trades that I think was good for both teams,” Thibodeau said, per Sean Highkin.

Reddish is averaging 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 30.5 minutes per game since moving to Portland.
