Mavericks superstar Kyrie Irving wore a less know brand of shoes as he warmed up for the game against the Grizzlies, which he ended up missing due to right foot soreness.
The 30-year-old point guard wore Ethics shoes, a brand founder by former NBA player Langston Galloway. “I wanted to show him some love,” Irving told ESPN, per Tim MacMahon.
Kyrie is open to wearing Ethics during game action. Irving had his own signature shoe with Nike, but the company terminated its relationship with the player after shared a link to a supposedly anti-semitic movie.
