Veteran big man Daniel Theis is eyeing making his 2022-23 season debut next week for the Indiana Pacers, per Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files.
Theis has been ruled out indefinitely for the Pacers back in November after taking surgery to address his right knee soreness.
The German big man was acquired by Indiana in a trade package that sent Malcolm Brogdon to the Boston Celtics last summer.
With him set to be available soon, Theis will help Myles Turner and Jalen Smith in anchoring the team’s frontcourt.
