Tonight the Lakers are hosting one of the top teams in the Western Conference – the Grizzlies. Memphis is currently on a 11-game winning streak while Los Angeles is 6-4 over the last ten games.

For the Lakers six players are listed on the injury report, including LeBron James who is questionable with left ankle soreness.

Anthony Davis (right foot stress injury), Lonnie Walker IV (left knee tendinitis) and Austin Reaves (left hamstring strain) remain out. Two-way players Scottie Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider will also miss tonight’s game.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies should be at almost full strength. Only Danny Green (left knee surgery recover) is listed as out. Ziaire Williams (non-Covid illness) is questionable, while Kennedy Chandler (nasal fracture / face mask) is available.

It is the first of three regular season games that the Lakers and Grizzlies are set to play this season. Memphis (31-13) is currently second and Los Angeles (20-25) is thirteenth in the Western Conference.

Ahead of tonight’s game, the Grizzlies are considered favorites amongst bookmakers, with NBA lines site Betway pricing them at -264 to beat the Lakers. The NBA odds for Los Angeles to win this game are at +250.
