For the first time in his life DeMar DeRozan is visiting Paris. On Thursday the Bulls will play against the Pistons in the French capital for the year’s NBA Paris Game.
The 33-year-old star says he will not take for granted the opportunity to play in front of the fans in Europe.
Via Joe Cowley of Chicago Sun-Times:
“It’s an experience that’s one of a kind,” DeRozan said. “I’ve been in the league 14 years and I’ve never been to Paris. So to come here and be able to compete, and do something in front of a fan base you don’t get the chance to do something in front of, I don’t take the opportunity for granted one bit. It’s the experience that lasts a lifetime.”
This season DeRozan is averaging 26.1 points, 5 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 36 minutes per game.
