On Friday night, the New York Knicks forward Obi Toppin was active but didn’t play for a second straight game. The Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said Toppin is still being “ramped up” after practicing at 5-on-5 with contact on Thursday with G-League Westchester.
“He’s getting close,” Thibodeau said of the third-year player, who hasn’t played since Dec. 7.
