The Hornets are set to miss Kelly Oubre Jr. for an extended period of time as the 27-year-old guard will undergo surgery on a torn ligament in his left hand, per Shams Charania.
Oubre is expected to mess four to six weeks. He has been playing through the injury since the first week of the season.
This season the player is averaging career-high 20.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
