It was reported earlier that Kyle Kuzma is expected to decline his player option for the 2023-2024 season. That would make him an unrestricted free agent.
To avoid losing the 27-year-old small forward for nothing, the Wizards will likely make him available before the February’s trade deadline, according to Marc Stein.
Quite a few teams are thought to be interested in the player, including his former team the Lakers.
This season Kuzma is having his best numbers of his career thus far, averaging 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 35.4 minutes per game.
