Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault discussed the competitiveness of small forward Eugene Omoruyi following his productive night vs. the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday (11 points/5 rebounds/2 assists/4 steals/5-11 FG/1-5 3-PT in a 123-102 road loss).

(via BackCourt):

“He just continues to build trust with his competitive level. It doesn’t seem to matter when he’s out there, how often he’s out there, how long he goes without playing. When you put him in the game, he’s ready to play and compete, and he brings a real edge. I thought that was important for us tonight. I thought he gave us a good lift in a couple different stretches, and just continues to be impressive in that. His competitive level stays at a certain point, and you can’t really throw him off of that. I thought he brought that again tonight.”
