When it comes to the GOAT debate, usually the names of Michael Jordan and LeBron James come up first. Draymond Green, who caught up with the Lakers superstar in terms of NBA titles won last season, weighed in on the debate.
He pointed out that unlike James, Jordan has did not beat the greatest team ever assembled – referring to the 2016 Warriors team that he was on.
“Michael Jordan didn’t beat the greatest team ever assembled, nor did he run up against the greatest team ever assembled every year,” Green said on Throwing Bones podcast on Uninterrupted, a platform launched by James’ business partner Mavericks Carter, per HoopsHype.
