Atlanta Hawks rookie AJ Griffin spoke about the trust he’s continuing to earn from head coach Nate McMillan after a breakout game vs. the Denver Nuggets during last night’s 117-109 home win (24 points/3 rebounds/1 assist/3 steals/11-16 FG/2-5 3-PT).

“I definitely think that on both ends, I feel like I’m getting that trust from coach. And I really appreciate that, especially at a young age, wanting to take those challenges. Those are all new experiences, but you can always move forward with your effort. I think going down the stretch, those are the moments I love to be able to go out and get the win. It felt good to get that win tonight.”
