Lakers forward Matt Ryan is in his second year in the NBA. This year he teamed up with a superstar LeBron James. In a recent interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio the 25-year-old said he was a huge fan of the four-time NBA champion growing up and knew most things about him.
However, there was one thing that Ryan did not know about James until he joined him in Los Angeles. “One thing that I’ve learned about him that I probably didn’t know was just how funny he is,” he said.
“He’s actually… I told my family this too because my family asked me the same thing, like, ‘What’s it like being with somebody like that every day?’ I’m a competitor and I’m going to look at all my teammates the same. They’re my teammates, we got to go to battle every day.
“I can definitely recognize and acknowledge that LeBron is a hilarious human being. He’s always… especially some of these games that he hasn’t been playing I get to sit next to him during games on the bench for a little bit and he’s always cracking jokes and providing some humour which I didn’t know, I didn’t know that about him.”
