LeBron James has admitted publicly on more than one occasion that he wants to be a team owner at some point in the future.

Recently, the four-time NBA champion expressed interest in being an owner of a team in Las Vegas when it is established. As a player he has been deeply involved in construction of rosters of the teams that he has played for.

However, when it comes to being an owner, James sees himself as being part of the process, but not picking the players.

Via Jedd Pagaduan of ClutchPoints:

“I don’t wanna pick the players but I wanna be a part of the process. I wanna be part of the process because I know players and I watch them all. But I don’t wanna do their job. But I’m hiring you to do a job and giving you a timeline to do your job. If you do not do your job, you know, it’s probably time,” James said.
