Chet Holmgren, this year’s number two draft pick by the Thunder, continues his recover from a Lisfranc injury in his foot which ruled him out for the entire rookie year.

The 20-year-old center/forward is already putting up shots without a boot which he wears to secure his foot. According to Oklahoma City’s head coach Mark Daigneault, Holmgren is recovering very well.

“His recovery is not behind or ahead of what’s normal,” he said, per Clemente Almanza. “It’s going very well. You’re going to see him do more and more as time goes on. He’s doing a great job of it… He should be really proud the way he’s (rehabbing) so far.”
