Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball will make his season debut on Saturday against the Miami Heat, multiple sources have confirmed.

Ball sustained a left ankle sprain back in preseason which forced him to to be sidelined on the Hornets’ 13 games to start the 2022-2023 season.

Ball had a splendid sophomore year last season, wherein he was named as an All-Star for the first time in his career by averaging 20.1 points, 7.6 assists and 6.7 rebounds.

His absence puts a dent on Charlotte to start the campaign, as they went off with a 3-10 record.
