The start of the season has not been great for the defending NBA champions. After eleven regular season games the Warriors are 4-7.

Golden State has just broken a five-game losing streak with a narrow over the Kings (116-113). In this game Steve Kerr mainly relied on his starters, but also gave minutes to two-way players Anthony Lamb and Ty Jerome.

After the game he explained his decision by saying that he needs experienced players now for the Dubs to come out of a rough patch.

“When you’re struggling and you don’t have a rhythm, you don’t have consistency, veteran players are going to be able to provide that more than young players are,” Kerr said. “… They’re more capable of allowing different groups to click.”
