Rotation notes from the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets.
Atlanta Hawks
Hawks head coach Nate McMillan has gone with Justin Holiday, Onyeka Okongwu, Aaron Holiday, and Jalen Johnson as his four players off the bench before Bogdan Bogdanovic returns. Rookie/10th man AJ Griffin has played well during his short amount of time. So keep an eye on the youngster to see if he ends up getting regular minutes at some point.
Boston Celtics
The Celtics have one of the deepest bench units in the NBA, which has left Payton Pritchard with plenty of DNP’s this season. Older veterans like Malcolm Brogdon & Derrick White have pretty much taken his minutes.
Brooklyn Nets
It’s good to see Cam Thomas back in the rotation after the Steve Nash firing. The 21-year-old has put up 19.0 PPG/4.0 RPG/5.0 APG/1.0 SPG on 45.8% FG/50.0% 3-PT/92.9% FT shooting numbers during his last two contests. Also starting center Nic Claxton is showing improvement in a season where he needed to prove himself (12.4 PPG/8.8 RPG/2.4 BPG/72.7% FG).
