Lakers’ forward Matt Ryan made a big play as he scored a game-tying three-pointer to force an overtime against the Pelicans. The Purple and Gold took care of business during the extra 5 minutes to record their second win of the season.

After the game Lakers head coach Darvin Ham admitted that Ryan was indeed a target of a set play that saw Austin Reaves passing him the ball.

“The play was definitely intended for [Matt Ryan], Austin [Reaves] threw a hell of a pass, and we were fortunate,” Ham said after the game.

This season Ryan is averaging 6.2 points and 1 rebound in 14 minutes per game for Los Angeles.
