The Cleveland Cavaliers have picked up their respective team options on Evan Mobley and Isaac Okoro, the club announced on Saturday.

Mobley serves as one of the pillars of the Cavs’ promising lineup who will be guaranteed a $8.88MM salary in the 2023-24 season. In his first year, he averaged 15 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks in 69 games. The former USC star came up as a runner-up behind Toronto Raptors’ Scottie Barnes in the Rookie of the Year race last season.

On the other hand, the 2020 fifth overall pick in Okoro will earn $8.82MM in his fourth year and is set to be extension eligible next offseason. He tallied 9.2 markers, 3.0 rebounds, 1.9 dimes and 0.9 steals over his first two seasons as Cleveland’s defensive ace.

The two will remain integral in the Cavs’ vision of a bright future, as both of them are currently at 21 years of age.
