NBA teams continue making moves as they test various players ahead of the start of the season. According to Keith Smith of Spotrac, the 76ers have signed Patrick McCaw to a training camp contract. Prior to this signing, Philadelphia signed-and-waived Mac MacClung and Justin Smith.

McCaw, a 26-year-old guard forward, played 199 games in the NBA over the span of five years. During that time he played for the Warriors, Cavaliers and Raptors.

His career averages are 3.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 16.9 minutes per game. McCaw has not played in the NBA since 2021. He was without a team until February 2022 when he joined the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.
