Upon his landing in the Twin Cities, Rudy Gobert sticks up his primary goal with the Minnesota Timberwolves: To win a championship.

With that, he believes there will be a day wherein that dream will be achieved with Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell helping him.

“Every night will be an opportunity for us to get better,” Gobert told NBA.com’s Mark Medina. “Basketball is not a perfect science. There is never perfection. But if you can play for each other and compete for each other every single minute on the court, we’re going to get better and better.

“Our goal obviously is to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference, then get to the Finals and play for a championship.”

Going all-in and sacrificing their future assets in order to acquire the French giant, T-Wolves and its supporters can only hope that a trophy will be hoisted by them in the near future.
