The Phoenix Suns will miss the presence of both Cam Johnson and Cameron Payne for the rest of the team’s preseason contests.

As told by Kellan Olson of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, the two will be shelved by the team and will be re-evaluated following the preseason. Both Johnson and Payne sustained a right thumb sprain and right finger sprain respectively during Phoenix’s exhibition bout with the Los Angeles Lakers.

With that being said, it remains uncertain also if they’ll be ready to be slated in the Suns’ regular season opener.

The ball club will open up their 2022-23 campaign in a postseason rematch with the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 19.
