Miami Heat rookie Nikola Jovic isn’t entirely done with high school just yet.

The 19-year-old, drafted at No.27 overall by the Heat this year, played three professional seasons in his native Serbia before heading to the United States and would skip his final exam so he could prepare for the NBA Draft. Jovic still needs to pass the exam before he could graduate, according to head coach Erik Spoelstra, who revealed as much following the Heat’s second preseason game on Thursday night (per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald).

Spoelstra said the teenager is working on finishing high school via Zoom calls and will write the exam once he gets some free time.

Meanwhile, Miami beat the Brooklyn Nets 109-80, with Jovic scoring 10 points along with five assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 16 minutes.
