Seven highly experienced Euroleague officials will oversee the Final Four in Madrid next Friday.
llija Belosevic from Serbia, Christos Christodoulou from Greece, Daniel Hierrezuelo from Spain, Olegs Latisevs from Latvia, Robert Lottermoser from Germany, Sasa Pukl from Slovenia and Borys Ryzhyk from Ukraine have been confirmed as the referees for the showpiece event.
Belosevic is the most experienced of the group with seven past Final Fours to his name. For Lottermoser, who worked last season’s third-place game, this is his fifth consecutive Final Four, while for Rhyzhyk, it’s his fifth overall.
Christodoulou and Pukl officiated the overtime championship game last year in which Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv defeated Real Madrid. For both of them and Latisevs, Madrid will be their fourth Final Four, while it will be Hierrezuelo’s third time at the Euroleague’s signature event.
CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos Piraeus, Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul and local side Real Madrid will battle for the title at the Euroleague Final Four at Barclaycard Center in Madrid from May 15 to 17.
