Kemba Walker will not continue his NBA career with the Pistons. The 32-year-old point guard was traded to Detroit by the Knicks earlier this offseason, but his new team does not see a place for him on the roster.

It was reported earlier that Walker will be away from the team’s training camp. However, according to Marc Berman of New York Post, the Pistons will not cut him just yet.

Instead, Detroit will wait for the player’s representatives to find him a new team. A report earlier this past summer suggested that there is little to no interest in Walker.

Last season Walker averaged 11.6 points, 3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 25.6 minutes over 37 games for the Knicks.
