The Pelicans added another player of the start of training camp. According to Keith Smith of Spotrac, New Orleans added Zylan Cheatham, former Arizona State Sun Devil.
The 26-year-old small forward began his professional career in 2019 after going undrafted. He has played 5 NBA games since – 4 for the Pelicans and 1 for the Utah.
Most of was his time was spent on various G League teams. Most recently he was with the Birmingham Squadron. During this year’s Summer League he played for the Bucks.
