Tyler Herro is very unlikely to leave the Miami heat now that Kevin Durant is staying put (for now) and Donovan Mitchell has been traded.

Mitchell was traded to the Cavaliers on Thursday and, Herro, who is eligible for an extension, can rest easy as he would have been the main trade piece if a deal were to go either way.

Heat fans have since called on the team to extend the young guard but it appears he wasn’t having it, taking to Twitter to post what appears to be shade.

Herro has every right to feel slighted after being constantly brought up in trade talk given the season he just had with Miami. The former Kentucky star won the Sixth Man of the Year award last season, having averaged 20.7 points a game during the regular season.

His playoff numbers weren’t as good, yet the Heat made it to within one game of the NBA Finals.
