It was reported earlier that the Blazers waived Did Louzada. More details have come out since. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Portland used the waive-and-stretch provision on the 23-year-old small forward.
ESPN Front Office Insider Bobby Marks explained the financial aspect of the transaction. He pointed out that the move would put Portland under the tax (currently $1.54M over).
The Brazilian was sent to Portland before the trade deadline this past season in the CJ McCollum trade. He played 7 games for the Blazers, averaging 5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 17.4 minutes per game.
