It was just reported that Chet Holmgren’s injury is worse than initially thought and that he will miss his entire rookie year.
The number two pick of this year’s NBA Draft has been diagnosed with a season-ending Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Interestingly, the 20-year-old forward sustained the injury while guarding the league’s superstar LeBron James.
Holmgren was guarding the four-time NBA champion on a fastbreak during a game at the CrawsOver pro-am game in his native Seattle. He did manage to prevent James from scoring though.
