Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren is set to miss the 2022/23 season in its entirety as it’s been determined that he’s suffered a Lisfranc injury to his right foot, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Holmgren, 20, suffered the injury while playing in The CrawsOver pro-am in Seattle on Saturday, an event that brought out multiple NBA stars such as LeBron James and Jayson Tatum. There were fears the injury was a very serious one following initial scans.

Holmgren joins a list of top draft picks, including Joel Embiid, Blake Griffin, and Ben Simmons, who had their rookie seasons derailed by injury.
