From one San Antonio Spurs great to another, Manu Ginobili’s basketball immortalization can’t get best enough upon the upcoming honors of his former ultimate teammate in Tim Duncan.

As verified by various sources, Duncan will present Ginobili into his enshrinement in the 2022 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Duncan may seem poised to continue the Spurs’ hall of fame tradition. Last year, he was presented by fellow franchise great and former mentor David Robinson in the pantheon of the sport. Arguably when Tony Parker finally becomes available for enshrinement, the Big Fundamental will be there also to welcome him.

Ginobili and Duncan served as two of San Antonio’s dynastic foundation in their NBA reign from the last era, wherein they served instrumental on the franchise’s four titles from 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014.

As such, Ginobili understands that he won’t make that far without Duncan’s presence and leadership as a second-round pick from Argentina in 1999.

An Olympic gold medalist, four-time NBA champion, two-time All-star, two-time All-NBA Third Team member and an international icon upon his triumph in both EuroLeague and Italian League in early 2000s, he is set to be glorified next month in Springfield, Massachusetts.
