The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to spark a voluntary, player-led pre-training camp workouts in Los Angeles for the following week, sources told Chris Fedor of cleveland.com.

According to Fedor, All-star guard Darius Garland and 2022 All-Rookie First Team member Evan Mobley are helping their very own club to make this upcoming camp possible.

The majority of the players within the Cavs lineup are expected to be included in the gathering. But there’s uncertainty for Cedi Osman, Lauri Markkanen and Raul Neto to join due to their national team duties in the upcoming EuroBasket.

The same goes to star big man Jarrett Allen, who is currently in Australia as part of the Basketball Without Borders program.

Meanwhile, Collin Sexton — who remains as a restricted free-agent and having current negotiations with the franchise brass about a potential deal — isn’t expected to fly in L.A. to join also. With this given status, he is not officially listed in the Cavaliers’ full lineup.

Touted as one of the most exciting teams in the league with their rich talent and reliable veterans, the Cavs are slated to approach the upcoming basketball year with optimism following a fruitful 2021-2022 campaign.
