Despite rains of trade rumors showering on him, Jaylen Brown is eventually committed to settle with the Boston Celtics.

As detailed by Steve Bulpitt of Heavy, an anonymous executive has expressed his belief that Brown is “all-in” should the Cs offer a long-term partnership.

“I think Jaylen IS long term,” the executive told Bulpitt. “If they want him long term and they’re going to pay him the contract he deserves, I think he’s all-in on Boston. From everything I’ve been told, Jaylen’s a loyal guy. I know frustration can happen when things aren’t going well, and I think we saw some of that earlier in this past season.

Last month, The Athletic’s Shams Charania dropped a major news that the Celtics have offered their very own lucrative package that features Brown to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange of the disgruntled Kevin Durant.

A potential blockbuster trade didn’t materialize into reality, as the Nets remain stuck on their all-time demands in order to ship away the future hall of famer.

Trade rumors aren’t new on Brown, as he was also swarmed by speculations last season that he doesn’t mesh up with co-star Jayson Tatum.

Eventually, he helped Boston to finally go deeper in the postseason and make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since over a decade, serving as their second-best player with his productive scoring and reliable two-way game while averaging 23.1 points, 6.9 boards, 3.5 assists in 47 percent shooting across 24 pivotal occasions.

Brown still has two years left in his four-year $107M contract extension last 2019. Given that he still has more room to improve at age 25 and on what he did as the franchise’s best player in last Finals series, the former Cal State star certainly deserves a much higher respect and recognition.
