According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, free agent Ish Wainwright has agreed to a two-way NBA contract to return to the Phoenix Suns.
The 27-year-old combo forward played in 45 games for the Suns this past season and averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
Wainright was a two-sport athlete at Baylor University, playing both football and basketball, though not at the same time.
