According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland has agreed on a five-year, $193 million maximum designated rookie contract extension that could be worth as much as $231 million with All-NBA escalators. It is the largest deal in franchise history.

Garland, 22, averaged 21.7 points and 8.6 assists in his third year with the team. That performance earned Garland his first-ever selection to the All-Star team.
