It was a rough night for Steph Curry in terms of shooting from threes. He missed all nine of his attempts. The rest of the Warriors team struggled as well. Golden State combined for 9/40 fro the three, yet they were able to defeat the Celtics in Game 5.

Curry was asked after the game if his poor shooting bothered him. “Of course it bothers me as a shooter you want to impact the game that way,” the three-time NBA champion said. “But thankfully that’s not the only thing that you do out there on the court.

“I remember the first game of the year against the Lakers I had a very similar shooting night. But impact the game other ways. And I remember I said ‘I played horrible,’ but I had to re-kind of define what that looked like in terms of just trying to make the right play, keep things simple.

“The fact that everybody stepped up – Wiggs [Andrew Wiggins], JP [Jordan Poole], Klay [Thompson] had some big shots, Draymond [Green] found his life in the spirit and the way he impacts the game.

“We could withstand going 9/40 as a team and me being 0/9 and still coming away with the win. So, obviously track record says I’ll shoot the ball better next game. Looking forward to that bounce back.”
