The Celtics won two games in a row against the Heat to take the lead in the Eastern Conference Finals (3-2). Boston now has a chance to close out the series at home on Friday.

Some of the media is already touting the Celtics as the champions of the Eastern Conference but Jayson Tatum thinks it is too early to think that way. He gave an example of his own team winning Game 6 on the road in Milwaukee.

“Don’t look past them [the Heat]. Don’t believe what you guys [media] say on TV that we’re going to championship because this is far from over,” the 24-year-old small forward said.

“We talked about we just went into Milwaukee and won a very big Game 6, so know that it’s possible. We came into the mindset tonight that it was a must win game that we need to carry that over. Going to Friday like we’re down 3-2.

“This is a great team, well coached. They’re not going to give up, it’s going to be easy/ So, I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a challenge, but it’s going to be fun.”
