The Sacramento Kings, Portland Trail Blazers and the New Orleans Pelicans went shuffling in the recent draft lottery, and they even might look at the possibility of trading the prize they gained on Tuesday evening.

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer has provided on Friday that there are strong beliefs that these three given clubs will explore trading their respective first round picks.

Per Fischer, the Kings, Blazers and the Pelicans share similar motives of trying to acquire an impactful contributor or veteran, and their respective selections will have a huge swing for it to happen.

There are also thoughts that the upcoming annual rookie selection has a deep pool being composed of young talents ranging from the No. 12 to 40. As such, unpredictability is set to be expected on the order of the aspiring draftees this June.

Moreover, there are also several teams out of the lottery that might consider giving up their first-rounders for salary cap purposes.

The Kings became one of the big time winners of the draft after drawing the fourth spot in the first round. With a new voice in coaching under Mike Brown, the franchise is laser-focused to put an end on their notorious playoff drought.

Unlucky as it is, the Blazers remain encouraged despite just falling to the seventh selection. Armed by plenty of cap space and boosted by their rejuvenated star in Damian Lillard, they are gearing up for an upcoming season of vengeance.

And lastly, after writing one of the best storylines this 2021-2022 season, the Pelicans are poised to glide higher and reach the next level of competitiveness. Holding an impactful eight pick which they gained from the Anthony Davis trade with the Los Angeles Lakers, their choice about it will be very much interesting – as it will set themselves up as another Western Conference giant.
