Adreian Payne, a big man who starred at Michigan State and played four seasons in the NBA, was shot and killed Monday morning in Florida.

The Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green, who was a Spartans teammate with Payne for two seasons, tweeted four broken heart emojis after the news of Payne’s death:

Adreian Payne, 31, played four seasons for three teams. Payne’s career averages were 4.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 107 regular-season games.
