After missing the first three games of the series, Luka Doncic returned to action for the Mavericks in Game 4. The Slovenian superstar dropped 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to beat the Jazz. Dallas lost by a single point (99-100).

Rudy Gobert scored the game-winner for Utah with 11 seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter. The French center slammed an alley-oop to give his team the lead to which the Mavericks had no response.

The ball was in Doncic’s hands with 5 seconds left to play. He was guarded by two players beyond the three-point line and kicked the ball to Spencer Dinwiddie for a three which he missed at the buzzer.

“We didn’t really execute it well,” Doncic said about the final play of the game. “I should’ve maybe drive the ball more. We should’ve get a better shot, but it’s tough. We had a game. Now it’s 2-2. We’ve just got to learn from it and go onto the next one.”
