Since the inception of the NBA 75 years ago there have many great players that played in the league. The list is so long that many were left out of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, a symbolic list of the best 75 players ever.

One of the players that got snubbed is Kyrie Irving. The 2016 NBA champion and the star of the Brooklyn Nets was note aware of that and actually thought he was in.

“I think I’ll leave it to the conspiracy theorists. I think I was on the list… but I guess I’m not. Maybe I’ll just wait 10 years, 20 years from now… hopefully with a few championships under my belt,” Irving said, per HoopsHype.

This season the 30-year-old point guard is averaging 27.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 37.5 minutes per game.
