A sigh of relief for the Cleveland Cavaliers fans, as their promising rookie Evan Mobley evaded a serious injury.

Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the big man has received negative x-ray results in his left ankle sprain.

Mobley left the Cavs’ Monday clash against the Orlando Magic in the first half due to the said injury. He was eventually ruled out of the game and had six markers and three boards in 13 minutes of action.

A possible frontrunner for this season’s Rookie of the Year honors, Mobley is averaging 14.9 points on over 50 percent shooting to go along with 8.3 boards and 2.5 assists for the emerging Cavaliers that are gunning for a playoff slate.
