Kyrie Irving put up a monster performance as the Nets thrashed the Magic (150-108). The 29-year-old superstar point guard had game-high 60 points in 35 minutes of play, breaking Brooklyn’s record for most points in a half (41).
His former teammate LeBron James was in awe of what Irving was doing on the floor. “Ky stop it man!!! Actually don’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣” the four-time NBA champion tweeted.
The Nets are 3.5 games back from the sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Currently they are eighth in the East and would have to fight for a playoff spot via the play-in tournament.
