LeBron James led the Lakers past the Jazz to break a three-game losing streak. The 37-year-old superstar, who was crucial in the final period, scored 33 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 6 assists.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel commended James for his leadership after the game. “He frequently leads with his voice. Tonight was about his action,” he said.

“Just the look in his eyes and the way he was playing, the way he was approaching the defensive end and again the engagement that we continue to talk about. Just when he’s super locked in, the rest of the group follows.

“Man, he was something else during that stretch in all the ways we just discussed. And then to be able to be that locked in and deliver with the shot making and playmaking, it’s just remarkable.

“This is the number one offense in the league and second game in a row we held them around 100 points largely because of that engagement we were talking about with Bron. Everybody got locked in and he just made big plays offensively.”
