Patrick Beverley took to social media to troll Russell Westbrook in response to past comment from the Lakers superstar. “Pat Bev trick y’all, man, like he playing defense. He don’t guard nobody, man. He just running around, doing nothing,” Russ said in 2019 while playing for the Rockets.
A couple of years later Beverley made a response. “I remember when somebody said all I do is run around and I trick y’all 😂 well my boy is The Real Magician this year,” Beverley tweeted.
While the Timberwolves point guard did not specifically reference Westbrook in his tweet, the words he used are the same that Russ used when talking about Beverley which leaves little doubt as to whom the tweet was addressed.
