Recently Paul Millsap cut all ties with the Brooklyn Nets and the team is now looking for a trade to move him. According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Lakers have been mentioned as a potential suitor for the 36-year-old power forward if he becomes available via buyout.

However, it is believed that Millsap’s preferred destination is Chicago where he would re-unite with Arturas Karnisovas, a former executive in Denver while the Nets’ forward played there.

The veteran saw limited playing time in Brooklyn this year. He is averaging 3.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1 assist in 11.3 minutes per game.
