Paul Millsap and the Brooklyn Nets have reportedly agreed to mutually part ways.
Per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the franchise is set to find Millsap a new destination, wherein the veteran would want to thrive more in its role and capabilities.
Millsap experienced the lack of playing exposure for the first time in his career with the Nets this season. He tallied an average of 3.4 points and 3.7 boards in 11.3 minutes in just 24 appearances.
Off from a four-year stay as the vocal veteran of the Denver Nuggets, Millsap inked a $2.6 million, one-year deal with the title-contending Brooklyn last 2021 offseason with the hopes to win his first championship.
He has four-all star selections under his belt and can certainly contribute well with his strength, scoring and versatility as a frontcourt threat once landed in a fitting team.
