This past summer the Los Angeles Lakers added Russell Westbrook to form the Big 3 along with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. In addition, almost the whole roster of the team was changed.

The goal was clear – to win an NBA championship this season. Despite all of the changes and high expectations, the Lakers are far from being among the top teams in the league. With 24 wins and 27 losses they are currently 9th in the Western Conference.

Could these results prompt James to move elsewhere in order to win his fifth ring? Former NBA player Charles Oakley thinks so. “He definitely wants to win a championship before he retires, and he might have to leave L.A. to get it,” he said about LeBron on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “I don’t know if it could be Cleveland, could be somewhere else. He left twice… he’ll leave again.”

In his 19th NBA season James is averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 36.6 minutes per game for Los Angeles.
