Free agent center Thon Maker reportedly signs an NBA G League contract, per JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors. 

Maker’s last professional basketball stint was with the Hapoel Jerusalem, wherein he averaged 2.8 points and 3.5 rebounds upon departing with the franchise last December. 

Upon being the 10th pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, Maker played the majority of his time in the league with the Milwaukee Bucks, until in 2019 wherein he was claimed by the Detroit Pistons via trade. In the 2020-2021 season, he had a short exposure donning the Cleveland Cavaliers before being waived off. 

In his whole NBA career, the Australian big man has an average of 4.6 points, 2.8 rebounds via 43 percent shooting per 13.8 minutes of presence.
