In the most important game of round 17, FC Bayern Munich blew past (100-81) Telecom Baskets Bonn to return atop of the easyCredit BBL. The Bavarians dominated from start to finish, thanks to their efficiency from the three-point line.

Andrea Trinchieri’s side hit 19 of its 29 threes, with six players finishing the contest on double-digits. Deshaun Thomas was the leading scorer for Bayern with 18 points, while the German Cup winners withstood a 30-point game from Bonn’s Parker Jackson-Cartwright.

Ulm climbed to third place with its third win in the last game three games. Ulm prevailed over Bayreth with 92-81 behind Jaron Blossomgame’s 18 points.

Hamburg Towers withstood Syntainics MBC’s comeback and came away with an 84-76 win at home. Caleb Homesley was Hamburg’s top performer with 19 points and seven rebounds.

MLP Academics Heidelberg wasted a 19-point lead but fought through and knocked off Basketball Lowen Braunschweig 82-93 in overtime on the road. Brekkott Chapman scored 23 points to lead Heidelberg, who have captured back-to-back wins since snapping a nine-game losing streak.

Jonah Radebaugh (14 points) and Jacob Patrick (14 points) led MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg to a comfortable 57-79 win over EWE Baskets Oldenburg.
